By creating an account or using Compelo, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms that may apply. You must be at least 16 years old to use Compelo.

Compelo is an AI-powered platform that helps candidates build resumes, generate cover letters, and apply to jobs, and helps employers post roles and evaluate candidates. The service includes:

• Interactive resume building with AI assistance
• Cover letter generation tailored to specific roles
• Aurea AI — a digital twin that represents your professional profile
• Job search and application tools
• Employer job posting and candidate evaluation

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. During our beta period, features may change significantly as we iterate based on feedback.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You own your content. Resumes, cover letters, projects, attachments, and any other content you create or upload to Compelo remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By using Compelo, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service — including sending it to AI providers for features like tailoring and the Aurea assistant. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

You agree not to:

• Use Compelo to create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content
• Misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Use automated tools to access the service beyond provided APIs
• Harass, spam, or harm other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Compelo uses AI to help generate and refine content. You should:

• Review all AI-generated content for accuracy before using it
• Ensure that AI-assisted resumes and cover letters truthfully represent your experience
• Understand that AI outputs may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies

You are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of content you submit to employers or publish on your profile.

The Compelo platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Compelo. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Content you create using Compelo belongs to you, subject to any third-party rights in the underlying materials.

Compelo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in job offers or hiring success
• We are not responsible for decisions made by employers based on candidate profiles
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim

Compelo is currently in beta. This means the service may have bugs, features may change, and we may reset or modify data as needed. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes in advance. By using the beta, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the platform or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.
